How to Photograph Your Pet for a Custom Replica

The likeness of your replica begins with your photos. Here are the things that help us most:

1. Natural light. A window in the morning is perfect. Flash flattens fur color.
2. Eye-level angle. Get down to your pet’s height — not above.
3. Front + side + 3/4. We need to see the face and the silhouette.
4. Distinctive markings close-up. A spot, a scar, an unusual paw color.
5. Their pose. If they had a favorite way of sitting, send that one.

Don’t worry about perfect — we work with what you have. Even imperfect photos of a pet who is no longer with us are golden.
