We are often asked why we don’t speed things up. Why nine weeks. Why every replica passes through one person’s hands.
The honest answer is that we don’t think a memorial should be efficient. Grief is not efficient. Love is not efficient. The hours we spend matching fiber to fur, hand-stitching a tiny nose, brushing the plush before it ships — those are the hours that make the difference between a toy and a keepsake.
So we’ll keep making them slowly. One small companion at a time.
